My Subjects
Art is an evolving process of discovery - trying new things, perfecting old things... at present I am focused on portraits (people and pets!) Portraits are the most challenging and rewarding because not only do you need a likeness, you need the personality of the subject! So when I am able to achieve those goals and not produce a camera copy, I am overjoyed!
My Medium
I predominantly use pastels - nothing can duplicate the softness of skin like powdery pastel... but for expression, I like to use oil and experiment with thick bold strokes of paint and color!
